No broader panel in the Labbrary catalog lists every biomarker on this one for a lower listed price.

Counted among one-time lab-draw listings with a published price, matched by published biomarker names. That doesn’t mean the tests are equivalent. Updated October 2, 2026.

Visit the selected partner laboratory for a blood draw. Quest375 requests 1 mL serum (minimum 0.5 mL) in an SST; heparin plasma is an alternative. Labcorp100768 requests 1 mL serum preferred or lithium-heparin plasma (minimum 0.7 mL, insufficient for repeats), with red-top, gel-barrier or lithium-heparin tubes; separate into a plastic transport tube when required. Both specify room-temperature transport. BioReference0070-3 is the serum creatinine option; its exact tube, volume and handling instructions remain unverified. Confirm them with the selected laboratory. This is not a home kit. A morning draw is typical. Fasting is not strictly required for this pairing; Mito recommends 12 hours when drawn with glucose. Recent cooked meat, strenuous exercise and creatine supplements can affect creatinine. Discuss medicines and preparation with your clinician; do not stop prescribed treatment on your own.

The balance

The Strengths. The Tradeoffs.

Strengths

  • Online ordering includes the required laboratory order through Mito.
  • Measures creatinine and reports a calculated estimate of glomerular filtration rate. eGFR is not directly measured filtration. Cystatin C, urine albumin, albumin-to-creatinine ratio and 24-hour creatinine clearance are not included.
  • Results are delivered to the Mito dashboard after laboratory processing.

Watch-outs

  • Labcorp and Quest are offered in 47 states and Washington, DC; BioReference is offered in NJ, NY and RI. Laboratory selection and price depend on your state.
  • The starting test price of $2.92 is the Quest Diagnostics nonmember option outside NJ, NY and RI, before its separate order fee. Other laboratory options have different prices and fees.
  • Quest Diagnostics test 375, for 47 states and Washington, DC, excluding NJ, NY and RI: $2.92 without membership or $2.08 with optional $9 monthly membership, plus a separate $15.00 order fee.
  • BioReference test 0070-3, for NJ, NY and RI: $7.69 without membership or $5.49 with optional $9 monthly membership, plus a separate $9.50 order fee.
  • Labcorp test 100768, for 47 states and Washington, DC, excluding NJ, NY and RI: $4.02 without membership or $2.87 with optional $9 monthly membership, plus a separate $11.50 order fee.
  • Membership is optional. The final checkout total, cancellation and refund terms remain unverified.
  • Typical results take about 1 day; this is not a guaranteed order-to-result deadline.
  • A single result does not establish chronic kidney disease or determine treatment. An estimated filtration rate is not an exact measurement; review trends, other findings and the laboratory reference interval with a clinician.
  • A morning draw is typical. Fasting is not strictly required for this pairing; Mito recommends 12 hours when drawn with glucose. Recent cooked meat, strenuous exercise and creatine supplements can affect creatinine. Discuss medicines and preparation with your clinician; do not stop prescribed treatment on your own.
  • Results appear in the Mito dashboard after laboratory processing. A personalized action plan requires membership; live consultations cost extra.
  • This test is marked HSA/FSA eligible. Your plan determines individual eligibility and reimbursement.
