Plain-language summary

What Labbrary does
Labbrary evaluates consumer health tests as products. Reviews describe what a test measures, what it omits, what the evidence supports, what ordering and collection involve, what the real cost is, and how the provider handles data. The purpose is a better purchase decision, made before money is spent.
What Labbrary does not do
- It does not diagnose any condition, in content or in tools.
- It does not interpret personal laboratory results, whether from a reviewed test or anywhere else.
- It does not recommend treatment, supplements, or therapies of any kind.
- It does not tell any individual whether they medically need a test.
- It does not create a clinician relationship, and no content should be read as one.
What the numbers mean
A Test Grade is an editorial evaluation of a test as a product, built from a published methodology. It describes measurement quality, transparency, cost, and similar product dimensions. It does not describe your body, your risk, or your health status.
A Fit Score describes how closely a test matches preferences you entered in the quiz: goal, budget, state, sample comfort, and support level. It is catalog relevance, not medical need. A Fit Score of 95 means a test matches what you said you were looking for, not that you should be tested.
Information can change
Tests are reformulated, panels change, prices move, availability shifts, and provider claims are revised. Reviews carry the dates their facts were verified, and re-checks run on a schedule, but any fact can be out of date at the moment you read it. Confirm material details with the provider, and treat every claim on a test's own marketing as the provider's claim, not Labbrary's.
When to involve a clinician
A qualified clinician is the right next step whenever a result would change what you do, whenever symptoms are involved, whenever results confuse or worry you, and whenever you are deciding whether testing makes sense for your health situation rather than your curiosity. Bringing a review's questions and your results to that conversation is exactly the use this platform is built for.
