Determine the patient's blood type (ABO and Rh D) for use in pretransfusion testing, organ/tissue transplantation, evaluation of transfusion reactions, and to determine the risk for hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN). ||Do not freeze red cells.Transport 3 mL whole blood. (Min 0.5 mL) Lavender (K2EDTA), or Pink (K2EDTA).
